New Century AIM VCT 2 raises GBP200,000 through share subscription

(Alliance News) - New Century AIM VCT 2 PLC on Wednesday said it has raised GBP215,626 through a subscription of shares.

New Century AIM VCT 2 is a London-based venture capital trust investing in AIM-listed companies.

The company said it will issue 506,760 shares priced at 42.55 pence per share. This represents a 13% discount to the shares closing price of 49.00p on Tuesday,

Its shares were flat at 49.00p each in London on Wednesday afternoon.

The shares represent about 10% of the existing share capital of New Century AIM VCT 2.

The company will hold its annual general meeting on June 30.
