Mulberry's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Bruno Guillon has stepped down from the luxury brand after three major profit warnings. The company said Guillon has decided to quit immediately after two years at the helm of the maker of Alexa and Bayswater handbags. Godfrey Davis, currently Non-Executive Chairman after being Finance Chief and CEO during his 27 years with the group, will become Executive Chairman until a successor is found. In January the group lowered its profit forecasts for the third time in 18 months as weak demand in South Korea and heavy discounting over Christmas hurt UK sales.
