MOVES-Barclays picks Salomon to run France investment bank

LONDON, Oct 26 (IFR) - Barclays has promoted Raoul Salomonto head its corporate and investment bank in France, overseeingits banking, markets, research and corporate banking businessthere.

Salomon has been head of markets and distribution in Francesince 2014 and will retain those responsibilities in his newrole. He has been at Barclays for 20 years.

The 52-year-old is co-responsible for the UK bank'srelations with Agence France Trésor and responsible for thedistribution of fixed income products. Barclays is one of themost active primary dealers in France.

Catherine Soubie, who had been head of investment banking inFrance and Benelux, left Barclays in July. (Reporting by Steve Slater; Editing by Gareth Gore)
