MILAN, April 22 (Reuters) - Barclays has appointed
its Italy country manager and head of banking, Enrico
Chiapparoli, as head of banking also for Central and Eastern
Europe (CEE), the British bank said.
Chiapparoli has been leading Barclays' operations in Italy
since 2018 and will now work also to develop the group's CEE
franchise.
"Enrico is ideally placed for the expanded role, bringing an
investment banking career spanning 25 years," Barclays said in a
note on Thursday.
"He's advised on a vast number of strategic and financing
transactions for European clients, including Fiat Chrysler, Nexi
and Aston Martin."
