Miner BHP Drops Billiton From Name, Becomes BHP Group
LONDON (Alliance News) - Miner BHP Group PLC confirmed Tuesday it changed its name from BHP Billiton PLC on Monday following shareholder approval.
The vote was carried out in September.
BHP's ticker in both Johannesburg and London will change to 'BHP' from 'BLT', while its ISIN number will also be changing.
