Midwich To Launch Global Hardware-As-A-Service Programme In September

Wed, 12th Aug 2020 10:15

(Alliance News) - Midwich Group PLC on Wednesday said it has launched a new hardware-as-a-service programme, designed specifically so that new and existing channel partners can offer the latest 'unified communication' technology to their customers.

The AIM stock was 2.1% higher in morning trading in London at 405.00 pence a share.

The new offering coincides with the announcement of a worldwide distribution partnership with Plantronics Inc and is initially designed to meet the demand for the Zoom Video Communications Inc platform.

The audio visual distributor said the programme will be officially launching on September 1, and will initially be available in the UK and Ireland, North America, Australia and New Zealand.

"The global pandemic has resulted in unprecedented financial constraints and a need to optimise communication is key for every organisation, through work-from-home, office or classroom UC solutions," explained Midwich Managing Director Stephen Fenby.

"The launch of the new hardware-as-a-service programme along with this exciting new global partnership with Poly, leaves us well positioned to offer the leading UC technology to our channel partners and their customers, without the substantial upfront costs," added Fenby.
