LONDON (Alliance News) - Lo-Q PLC, a company which provides queuing and ticketing technology for attractions, said Tuesday that it is changing its name to Accesso Technology Group PLC.
The company said that the name change is intended to indicate its expanded business following the acquisition of Accesso LLC in 2012. Although it had offered two product lines under the names Lo-Q and Accesso since the acquisition, it now wants to operate under a single name.
Lo-Q anticipates that dealings under its new name will begin November 12, at which point the company's ticker will change to ACSO.
"The acquisition of Accesso in 2012 was transformational to our business and the technology, operations and sales synergies from the acquisition are surpassing our original expectations," said Chief Executive Officer Tom Burnet in a statement. "We believe that the new name clearly encapsulates what the Company aspires to be, and gives us greater flexibility to enter new markets, make future acquisitions and diversify our operations around the world."
Shares in Lo-Q were trading up 0.76% at 660.00 pence Tuesday morning.
