Lekoil Uncovers Potential Increase To Resource At Ogo-1 Site

Thu, 31st Oct 2013 14:22

LONDON (Alliance News) - Lekoil Limited Thursday said it has received positive results from further drilling at its Ogo-1 well in Nigeria.

The oil and gas company said that the side track well test reached a total depth of 17,987 feet and encountered hydrocarbon intervals in the same reservoirs that were successfully drilled at the site previously.

The company said that all of the reservoir intervals came in positively and potentially indicate a larger structure than estimated following previous drilling.

Lekoil shares were down 6.4% to 55.25 pence Thursday.
