LONDON (Alliance News) - Radiation detection technology company Kromek Group PLC on Monday said it has signed three new contracts worth a total of USD1.1 million.

The company said it has won USD564,000 worth of orders to supply radiation detectors and integrated electronic components to an unnamed company which makes dual-energy x-ray bone mineral densitometry systems.

The group also has won a USD367,000 order to supply the SPECT-DM Nuclear Imager and the recently launched eValuator-3500 x-ray imager detection modules to an Asian customer to improve its material identification capabilities.

Finally, Kromek said it has signed a USD120,000 deal from a US manufacturing company to supply its detection models to enhance the client's radiation-detection capabilities.

"We are delighted to have been awarded these three new contracts that illustrate the progress Kromek continues to achieve across all of our target segments and in multiple geographies, including Asia - a key growth market," said Kromek Chief Executive Officer Arnab Basu.
