(Alliance News) - Law firm Knights Group Holdings PLC on Thursday said interim trading has been "strong", meeting market expectations.
Knights said acquisitions made in the prior year did well in the six months to October 31, resulting in a double-digit increase in organic revenue.
During the half, a net 43 new fee earners were hired, compared to 46 for the whole of the previous financial year. During the half, Knights moved into a larger office in Manchester.
"We continue to make excellent progress toward the 2020 targets we set out at IPO. The recent acquisition in Birmingham has expanded our geographic base and provides an exciting platform for growth, following on from the significant presence we are building in Manchester," said Chief Executive David Beech.
"I am also encouraged by the group's continued momentum in successfully recruiting high calibre fee earners into our business, which provides a strong foundation for further growth into the full year and beyond."
Knights joined the London Stock Exchange in June 2018, raising GBP50 million at 145 pence a share. Shares were 0.6% higher on Thursday afternoon at 333.00p.
