Johnson Matthey appoints Anna Manz as finance director

(ShareCast News) - Speciality chemicals company Johnson Matthey has appointed Anna Manz as group finance director with effect from 17 October, succeeding Den Jones.Manz joins the group from drinks giant Diageo, where she is currently group strategy director, leading the company's strategy and business development activity and the Mainstream Spirits business. During her 17 years there, Manz held a series of senior financial roles. Prior to Diageo, she worked in the Quest International business of Unilever/ICI. Chief executive Robert MacLeod said: "Anna's strong financial, strategic and commercial experience in a large global company, together with her background in chemistry, will enable her to make an immediate contribution to the development of Johnson Matthey as we pursue our strategy of delivering long term profitable growth."
