John Rogers Joins WPP As Finance Head, Succeeding Paul Richardson

Tue, 04th Feb 2020 15:37

(Alliance News) - WPP PLC said Tuesday John Rogers has joined the firm as chief financial officer, with effect from Monday.

The appointment was first announced in October, when the advertising giant said that Rogers - former boss of Argos, a subsidiary of J Sainsbury PLC - would succeed Paul Richardson following the publication of WPP's 2019 results.

WPP's annual results are scheduled to be published on February 27.

The stock was trading 1.6% higher in London on Tuesday at 970.60 pence a share.
