James Fisher Wins Marine Services Deal For Galloper Wind Farm

LONDON (Alliance News) - Marine engineering services company James Fisher & Sons PLC on Thursday said it has won a marine services and support deal with Galloper Wind Farm Ltd worth GBP25.0 million.

James Fisher will work on marine services for the Galloper team during the construction phase of the 366 megawatt wind farm, located off the cost of Suffolk.

Galloper is owned by RWE Innogy UK, UK Green Investment Bank, Siemens Financial Services and Macquarie Capital.

"We are delighted to be working with Galloper Wind Farm Ltd on this exciting and technically complex project. The contract entails bringing together a range of services from across our group and utilises the experience and investments made in recent years in offshore renewables," said James Fisher Chief Executive Nick Henry.

James Fisher shares were up 1.9% to 967.79 pence.
