IWG appoints Eric Hageman as CFO

(Sharecast News) - Workspace provider IWG has appointed Eric Hageman as chief financial officer with effect from 1 January 2019.The company said that Hageman, who has been acting as interim CFO since September 2018, brings "highly relevant" knowledge and experience from his previous positions as CFO at a number of leading listed companies. In addition, he is already familiar with IWG from his role as interim CFO and having provided consultancy services to the group in the past.Chairman Doug Sutherland said: "Eric has performed strongly as interim CFO and will be an excellent long-term addition to the management team. We look forward to welcoming Eric onto the board and working with him to strengthen IWG's position as the global leader in the flexible workspace revolution."Chief executive officer Mark Dixon said: "During his time as interim CFO Eric has already made a positive impact on the business and our finance organisation. I am delighted he is taking on the role on a permanent basis."At 1015 GMT, the shares were down 1.2% to 204.50p. International Workplace Group
