Ithaca Energy Chairman Jack Lee To Retire At AGM In June

Fri, 27th May 2016 06:56

LONDON (Alliance News) - Oil and gas operator Ithaca Energy Inc on Friday said Non-Executive Chairman Jack Lee will retire from the board following the company's annual general meeting on June 22.

Non-Executive Director Brad Hurtubise will succeed Lee as chairman.

Meanwhile, Non-Executive Director Frank Wormsbecker also will step down at the AGM, reducing the number of director on the board to seven from nine.

"Jack and Frank have been on the board of Ithaca since 2008 and 2006 respectively. Their counsel and contributions have been significant in the successful transformation of the company from a small North Sea start-up to one of the leading independent operators in the basin today. On behalf of all of the board I would like to thank them for their contributions and wish them both the very best for the future," Chief Executive Les Thomas said in a statement.
