LONDON, May 5 (Reuters) - Ireland's Data Protection Commission on Tuesday launched an inquiry into Shein Ireland concerning the company's transfers of personal data from those within the European Union to China.
The DPC will examine and assess the extent to which Shein Ireland has complied with its relevant obligations under the EU privacy rules - known as the General Data Protection Regulation - in relation to these transfers, it said in a statement.
