Intercede taps Nitil Patel for CFO role

(Sharecast News) - Cybersecurity company Intercede Group revealed on Tuesday that Nitil Patel will take over as chief financial officer of the company, with effect from 19 April.

Intercede stated Patel, who most recently held the position of interim CFO at D4t4 Solutions, will take over from Andrew Walker, who will remain with the AIM-listed firm as a director until June in order to ensure a smooth transition through the year-end audit.

Chief executive Klaas van der Leest said: "We are delighted to announce Nitil's appointment as CFO. He brings plc board experience, and his strong commercial acumen will be of great value as we look to execute our growth plans."

As of 1015 BST, Intercede shares were up 0.90% at 56.0p.
