Inspirit Energy Up As It Signs New Deal For Boiler Control Systems

Mon, 23rd Jun 2014 09:04

LONDON (Alliance News) - Inspirit Energy Holdings PLC, which is developing a heating boiler that simultaneously generates enough electricity to power the average home, Monday said it had signed a new deal with Sentec Ltd that will prove the electronic boiler control and energy management systems for its new boiler.

Last October, Inspirit has agreed to buy the control and energy management systems from Cambridge-based Sentec.

"The signing of this latest agreement with Sentec provides for the manufacture and supply of the final stage electronics that will enable Inspirit to progress to the pre-production build of trial units that will be installed with a range of companies with whom Inspirit have signed agreements," Inspirit Chief Executive John Gunn said in its statement Monday.

Gunn said the deal will provide a key component as it heads towards installing trial units in the third quarter of this year.

Inspirit Energy shares were up 13% at 1.525 pence Monday morning, one of the biggest gains on the London market.
