LONDON (Alliance News) - Income & Growth VCT PLC said Wednesday its quarterly net asset value per share marginally increased over the period.
The UK-based venture capital trust said net assets attributable to shareholders increased to GBP82.8 million over the first quarter to December 31, from GBP82.6 million at September 30.
At the end of December, the company's NAV per share was 78.77 pence up from 78.32p at September 30.
The company did not declare any dividend in the quarter, but said a final dividend of 3.00 pence per share for the year ended September 30 has been approved.
Furthermore the VCT said it bought back 215,000 shares at 68.50p each in mid-December, while a week later it repurchased further 135,000 shares at 70.50p. All the shares bought back were then cancelled.
The Income & Growth VCT shares were untraded Wednesday, last quoted at 66.50p.
