IN BRIEF: Residential Secure Income to raise up to GBP20 million

Residential Secure Income PLC - real estate investment trust focused on retirement living and shared ownership homes - Plans placing and retail offer of new shares at 108.5 pence to raise up to GBP20 million. The price is a 1.3% premium to Residential Secure Income's ex-dividend EPRA net tangible assets per share of 107.11p as of December 31. The shares that will be offered represent up to 11% of the company's currently issued equity. The placing by Jefferies International Ltd and retail offer via PrimaryBid will raise money to go toward a planned GBP39 million in shared ownership transactions on 272 homes in southern England. The new shares are expected to start trading on February 7. Residential Secure Income was granted the authority to issue the shares at its annual general meeting last month.
