PPHE Hotel Group Ltd - Guernsey-registered developer and operator of hotels under the Park Plaza, Arena and art'otel brands - Picks contemporary artist Pietro Ruffo as signature artist for its soon-to-open art'otel Rome Piazza Sallustio. Each hotel under the art'otel brand is dedicated to a signature artist, with their artworks in each room. Ruffo is a Roman artist who has worked with fashion houses Valentino and Dior. The new 99-room hotel is opposite the Horti Sallustiani in central Rome. PPHE also hires Diego Di Gaetano to be general manager. Di Gaetano has worked within the Leading Hotels of the World collection. The Rome art'otel will open after the company's new art'otel London Hoxton, which is planned for the first half of this year. Recent hotel openings are expected to generate a combined GBP25 million in annual earnings upon stabilisation of trading, PPHE says.
