Lift Global Ventures PLC - invests in financial media and technology platforms - Plans initial public offering on Aquis Stock Exchange in London in December. Lift plans to raise GBP1.7 million from placing of 56.7 million shares at 3 pence each.
Novum Securities, its corporate adviser and broker, will conduct the placing, which is expected to give Lift a GBP2.7 million market capitalisation. Lift is led by Chief Executive Officer Zak Mir, a financial journalist, and former broker, who worked for Yahoo! Finance, Investors Chronicle and Shares magazine. The board is chaired by Paul Gazzard, who worked in asset management at Panmure Gordon and is an non-executive director of London-listings Amur Minerals Corp and Dukemount Capital PLC.
