IN BRIEF: GYG Secures "Substantial" Yacht Refit Contract

GYG PLC - yacht maintenance company - Signs Refit contract for 100-plus metre yacht. Work scheduled to start in Europe in 2022, further improving forward visibility of order book which remains at "record levels".

"This is another significant turnkey project for the group, utilising the Refit services including bespoke scaffolding, containment, hardware removal, caulking and complete repainting. It follows the recently announced signing of a 115+ metre yacht in Germany which is due to complete in H121," company says.

Chief Executive Remy Millott says superyacht industry remains "robust and resilient".

"I am pleased to have ended this calendar year with another substantial Refit contract in Europe," says Millott.

Current stock price: 68.50 pence

Year-to-date change: up 9.5%
