IN BRIEF: Gear4Music CEO Wass sells GBP12 million in shares, 8% stake

Gear4Music PLC - York-based online musical instruments and equipment retailer - Chief Executive Officer Andrew Wass sells 1.7 million shares at 730 pence, worth GBP12.0 million, on Monday. The sale of the 7.9% stake to institutional investors "to satisfy existing market demand" was conducted via joint broker Singer Capital Markets. Wass continues to hold 4.7 million shares, a 22% stake.

Current stock price: 730.00p, down 2.0% on Monday

Year-to-date change: down 11%
