Belvoir Group PLC - Lincolnshire, England-based property franchise group - Posts pretax profit in 2020 of GBP6.7 million, widening 20% from GBP5.6 million in 2019. Revenue increases 8.8% to GBP21.7 million from GBP19.3 million. Says increase is due to "exceptionally strong" demand following the reopening after the first lockdown in May. Declares a dividend of 7.2 pence per share for 2020, up 7.5% from 6.7p in 2019.
"Trading in the year to date has been encouraging and in line with management expectations. The lettings market remains resilient as demonstrated throughout the pandemic. The sales and financial services markets are expected to remain buoyant following the extension of the stamp duty holiday until September 30, and will be boosted further by the recent government's announcement of a new 95% mortgage guarantee scheme," says Belvoir.
