IN BRIEF: Beeks Financial Cloud raises GBP5 million through placing

Beeks Financial Cloud Group PLC - cloud computing and connectivity provider for financial markets - Completes placing, raising GBP5.0 million via issue of 4.3 million shares at a price of 115 pence each. The new shares represent about 8.4% of the enlarged share capital, the company notes. The placing price represents a discount of 3.8% to the closing price of 119.5p per share on April 1. In addition, the company says Chief Executive Gordon McArthur sold 434,783 shares, raising GBP500,000.

Current stock price: 116.75 pence, down 3.5% on Wednesday

Year-to-date change: up 23%
