abrdn Equity Income Trust PLC - London-based trust investing in UK-quoted companies - Renews GBP30 million revolving credit facility with the Royal Bank of Scotland Ltd for three years. Says GBP25 million of the facility was drawn down on Friday last week, with the proceeds used to repay the amount outstanding under the expiring facility in full. The remaining GBP5 million will remain available to the company to utilise in the future for investment purposes. Also it has the option to the increase the facility to GBP40 million at any time, subject to the lender's credit approval.
