IN BRIEF: AA's GBP219 million takeover sanctioned by court

AA PLC - roadside assistance firm - Takeover by a consortium comprising funds advised by TowerBrook Capital Partners UK LLP and funds managed by Warburg Pincus LLC is given court sanction.

As a result, the GBP219 million takeover will take effect and AA's shares on the London Stock Exchange will cease trading on Wednesday. AA first agreed to the takeover in November 2020.

Current stock price: 34.95 pence

Year-to-date change: up 3.7%
