LONDON (Alliance News) - Impellam Group PLC said Thursday that revenue in the first half of the year increased 2.7% while its profit remained flat.

For the period, the provider of managed services and specialist staffing posted revenue up to GBP1.10 billion from GBP1.07 billion recorded last year.

Pretax profit remained flat at GBP12.2 million compared to GBP12.1 million a year ago.

The company said it decided not to declare an interim dividend, as it will commence a share buyback programme in the third quarter. It will buy shares for up to an aggregate market value of GBP12 million over a period of 12 months, it said.

Impellam shares were trading up 1.1% at 465.00 pence each.
