LONDON (Alliance News) - IMImobile PLC on Wednesday said it has traded in line with expectations in the year to end-March, and said it is in a good position going into its next financial year.
The mobile software and services provider said it expects a 25% increase in revenue for the year to end March 31, from GBP48.9 million the previous financial year, and gross profit 20% higher than the previous year's GBP30.0 million, after seeing "organic growth in all regions and business units".
IMImobile highlighted significant contract wins and renewals in its Europe and the Americas division during the year, and said it has seen "strong year-on-year growth" in these regions.
IMImobile also noted its return to growth in the India and South East Asia division, driven by new mobile operator deployments, and said "the launch of the TextLocal platform in India has also shown good promise".
In the Middle East and Africa, growth has come from a mix of new deployments as well as further extensions of existing accounts, the company said.
"The group enters the new financial year in a good position to achieve its growth expectations. We have a strong pipeline of opportunities and deployments which are expected to contribute to revenue," Chief Executive Jay Patel said.
Shares in IMIMobile were up 1.0% at 151.00 pence on Wednesday.
