LONDON (Alliance News) - Chocolatier Hotel Chocolat Group PLC on Monday said it opened its first store at the Aeon Lake Town shopping mall in Tokyo, Japan.
The stock was trading 3.3% higher on Monday at 325.00 pence a share.
"The reaction to Hotel Chocolat in Japan on our first day of trading last week was hugely encouraging," said Co-Founder & Chief Executive Angus Thirlwell.
"Customer engagement, media attention and sales performance were all well ahead of expectations. We look forward to unfolding the brand further here," added Thirlwell.
