(Alliance News) - Haydale Graphene Industries PLC said Friday it has hired Mark Chapman as its new finance chief with immediate effect.
Chapman - a chartered accountant - will replace Chief Financial Officer Laura Redman-Thomas who announced in October she would be leaving the advanced materials firm on Friday to take up a new role.
After a career as a corporate financier at Deloitte, Chapman has spent the last 19 years in a number of chief financial and chief operational roles within firms operating in the medical technology, beverages and consumer sectors.
"I'm delighted that Mark is joining Haydale at this exciting time for the group," Chair David Banks said. "He has clearly demonstrated his ability to bring about improvements in all of the businesses in which he has been involved and we look forward to benefiting from Mark's experience over the coming years."
Shares in Haydale Graphene were 1.4% higher at 1.60 pence in London on Friday.
