Harverson steps down permanently as IQGeo chairman

(Sharecast News) - IQGeo Group updated the market on its chairman on Thursday, confirming that, following his recent illness, Peter Harverson had decided to resign from the board and all group companies with immediate effect.The AIM-traded firm said Paul Taylor, who had served as acting chairman on an interim basis, would succeed Harverson as chairman on a permanent basis."The board thanks Peter for his hard work since appointment in 2005, through many years of growth and transformation for the group, and wishes him a speedy recovery," the directors said in their statement."A process is under way to identify further appointments to the board and its committees for which updates will be announced in due course."
