LONDON (Alliance News) - Gaming Realms PLC, which creates mobile real money and social games, on Monday said it has entered into a strategic partnership with digital marketing company Ayima Ltd, under which Ayima will receive Gaming Realms's external digital marketing agency.
The external digital marketing agency comprises of "certain clients" as well as the Facebook traffic buying team from Gaming Realms's subsidiary QuickThink Media Ltd, and in return Ayima will provide Gaming Realms with its marketing services. These services will focus on promoting games on Gaming Realms's proprietary platform.
Gaming Realms's external digital marketing agency is valued at around GBP400,000, the company said.
Gaming Realms will also receive shares in Ayima equal to 10% of the enlarged issued share capital, which have been valued by Gaming Realms at GBP540,000.
"Gaming Realms has been working closely with Ayima for several years. This partnership is a perfect fit as both companies will immediately benefit from an enlarged marketing capability," said Chief Executive Patrick Southon.
"Gaming Realms' marketing team will greatly benefit from Ayima's deep and broad capability in digital acquisition, while continuing to leverage QuickThink Media's Facebook buying team as before. We will also share in the upside of an already successful multinational digital agency, while removing various fixed costs from our business," Southon added.
Shares in Gaming Realms were up 1.2% at 21.00 pence on Monday.
