FTSE 250 movers: KCOM rises on Q3 statement

Fri, 01st Feb 2013 15:44
Communications services provider KCOM rose after saying in a third-quarter statement that it has seen "positive momentum across all brands". De La Rue, the banknote printer, surged after saying that it had received "some" of the previously delayed orders that it had referred to in the last trading update. The company said that results this year would be flat on 2011/12. Also higher was defence firm QinetiQ after it said that alongside the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD), it has successfully completed the regular five-yearly review of the existing 25-year long term partnering agreement (LTPA) and together agreed terms for the provision of test and evaluation and training support services through to March 2018.FTSE 250 - RisersEssar Energy (ESSR) 140.10p +7.19%KCOM Group (KCOM) 77.00p +7.09%Kenmare Resources (KMR) 35.28p +6.20%Centamin (DI) (CEY) 59.85p +5.84%Elementis (ELM) 223.00p +5.59%De La Rue (DLAR) 950.50p +5.38%QinetiQ Group (QQ.) 197.70p +5.16%TalkTalk Telecom Group (TALK) 248.50p +5.03%Bank of Georgia Holdings (BGEO) 1,313.00p +4.79%Grainger (GRI) 130.40p +4.40%FTSE 250 - FallersTed Baker (TED) 1,160.00p -3.65%New World Resources A Shares (NWR) 281.70p -2.86%Perform Group (PER) 367.40p -2.80%PayPoint (PAY) 824.00p -1.49%BH Macro Ltd.
