Reinforced polymer technology Fenner has revealed that numbers for the year ended 31 August are likely to be ahead of market expectations, due to strong growth in both the Conveyor Belting and Advanced Engineering Products divisions.In Conveyor Belting, trading has been "robust" with the group citing continuing positive market conditions and a health order book.Fenner also said that it has been able to sustain its momentum in Advanced Engineered Products to deliver a strong trading result. "Demand for our niche, performance-critical products has been high as the expansion of our product range and geographical coverage continued.""Whilst we note that uncertainty about the strength of the global economy has increased, the demand levels remain in line with our expectations," the firm said.Results will be announced on 9 November.BC
