Mon, 18th Jan 2016 07:59

LONDON (Alliance News) - Fastjet PLC on Monday said it has secured permission to operate flights between Harare and Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and Johannesburg in South Africa, after securing the necessary approvals from the countries' respective authorities.

The low-cost African carrier said the flights will operate three times per week initially and said it expects to get further approvals to operate flights from Zimbabwe in the first quarter of 2016.

"In launching these flights, fastjet Zimbabwe is establishing itself as a key player in the market," said Fastjet Chief Executive Ed Winter.
