Falanx Forms Partnership With MDS Technologies For Security Services

Wed, 02nd Jul 2014 08:26

LONDON (Alliance News) - Falanx Group Ltd said Wednesday it has formed a partnership with MDS Technologies Ltd, which provides cloud services through the UK government's G-Cloud programme, to offer its defence services to businesses.

The cloud-based defence services have previously only been available to governments. Falanx will initially provide services to MDS itself, via its Cyber-Security Operations Centre, which will be co-located with MDS' service management facility in Wiltshire.

"I look forward not only to building upon our existing government activities with Falanx but also to extending into the wider commercial market, where the nature of cyber threats can be less well understood but where the risks are equally significant," said MDS Managing Director Philip Dawson.

No financial details were disclosed.

Shares in Falanx were trading down 7.3% at 47.50 pence.
