EXECUTIVE CHANGES: Star Phoenix and Sportech rejig after restructuring

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Friday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Star Phoenix Group Ltd - oilfield services in Trinidad and oil and gas interest in Indonesia - Chief Financial Officer Theo Eleftheriades and Corporate Development Manager Evgenia Bezruchko and leave company as part of restructuring. Chief Operating Officer Lubing Liu tenders resignation for joint company secretary post, but keeps COO role. Says Harry Liu joins as CFO and Richard Clark as company secretary, both from September 1.

Sportech PLC - London-based betting technology company - Announces changes to board following "reduction in the operational scale of the group". Chief Executive Richard McGuire and CFO Tom Hearne to step down on September 9. COO Andrew Lindley will become CEO and Financial Controller Nicola Rowlands becomes CFO. The duo joined Sportech's board on Friday.

D4t4 Solutions PLC - Surrey-based data management company - Adds Bill Bruno to board as deputy CEO, effective immediately. Bruno joined D4t4 in 2018 as vice president of its US arm, which he still fronts.

Prospex Energy PLC - investor in onshore and shallow offshore European gas and power projects - Names Alasdair Buchanan as an independent non-executive director with immediate effect. Buchanan is "highly experienced" in the upstream oil and gas sector, Prospex says.

Arc Minerals Ltd - company focused on exploring for copper and cobalt in Africa - Adds Valentine Chitalu as non-executive director, effective immediately. Chitalu is currently chair of Phatisa Group, a private equity fund manager in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Salt Lake Potash Ltd - Western Australia-focused organic sulphate-of-potash miner - Says Tony Swiericzuk steps down as chief executive officer but stays on as board member and consultant to allow for a smooth handover with new CEO. "The board is in advanced discussions with a replacement CEO and will be in a position to make an announcement in the weeks ahead. Mr Swiericzuk's resignation will take effect on appointment of the new CEO," Salt Lake says.
