Eleco Appoints Microsoft's Nick Caw As Chief Executive

LONDON (Alliance News) - Eleco PLC said Thursday it has appointed Nick Caw as its new chief executive officer, effective Wednesday.

Caw joins from Microsoft Corp's UK arm, where he most recently served as the UK business development manager for Microsoft's Office 365 hosting platform.

"The Board of Eleco are delighted that Nick Caw has agreed to join Eleco as chief executive," said Chairman John Ketteley in a statement. "I am confident that he will make a significant contribution to our objective of achieving Eleco's full potential as a profitable and expanding international software business."

Eleco shares were untraded Thursday. They were last quoted at 20.51 pence.
