Mon, 12th Dec 2016 08:48

LONDON (Alliance News) - Ediston Property Investment Co PLC on Monday said the St Philips Point office building in Birmingham is now fully let.

Ediston said it has secured AXA Insurance UK PLC, the UK arm of French insurer AXA SA, to take the eighth floor of the building at a rent of GBP129,600 a year. AXA now occupies five floors of the property.

"Understanding the occupational needs of the tenants has helped us secure 100% occupancy of the property, which has enhanced both its income stream and capital value," said Calum Bruce, director of investment at Ediston Properties, the manager of the Ediston Property Investment Co.

Shares in Ediston were up 0.6% at 107.69 pence on Monday.
