LONDON (Alliance News) - Belvoir Lettings PLC said Friday that Chief Executive Officer Dorian Gonsalves and Finance Director Carl Chadwick had sold 200,000 and 150,000 shares respectively at 184 pence each.
Following these transactions Gonsalves retains a 2.12% interest in the company, Chadwick holds 1.65%.
Shares in the letting agencies company closed down 2.39% at 184.00 pence.
Thursday, it had reported an increase in pretax profit for the first half, as it opened more of its own outlets and received a new source of income in the form of estate agency sales fees.
It launched a new estate agency sales pilot this week, which will run for 12 months. A trial selling rather than letting residential property will be conducted from 10 offices from a cross-section of Belvoir outlets across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. These offices will run an estate agency offering alongside their original lettings businesses.
