(Alliance News) - Rockhopper Exploration PLC on Wednesday said three directors purchased a total of 285,000 shares in the company across a series of transaction on Tuesday.
Chief Executive Samuel Moody bought 125,000 shares at 19.45 pence each, GBP24,313 altogether. He now holds 2.5 million shares in the firm, a 0.6% stake.
Chair Keith Lough purchased 80,000 shares at 19.24p, GBP15,393 in total. He had no stake prior to the transaction.
Chief Financial Officer Stewart MacDonald also bought 80,000 shares, and at the same price. He now holds 405,332 Rockhopper shares, representing a 0.1% stake.
The stock was trading 2.6% higher at 19.60p each in London on Wednesday afternoon.
