Director dealings: Qinetiq director makes share purchase

(Sharecast News) - Qinetiq Group revealed on Tuesday that non-executive director Neil Johnson had acquired 50,000 ordinary shares in the FTSE 250-listed defence technology company.
Johnson, who snapped up the shares in two separate transactions, made the purchase on Monday at an average price of 265.99p each, for a total value of £132,996.67.

QinetiQ also reported underlying first-half revenue of £600.1m last Thursday, down from £603.2m year-on-year, as profits after tax slipped to £53.4m from £69.0m.

As of 1625 GMT, Qinetiq shares were down 0.83% at 264.0p.
