DIRECTOR DEALINGS: Numis Director Sells 12,000 Shares

Thu, 09th Feb 2017 12:00

LONDON (Alliance News) - Numis Corp PLC Thursday said Executive Director Marcus Chorley sold 12,000 shares at a price of 279.50 per share on Tuesday.

Following the sale, Chorley now holds 3.5 million shares, which equals a 3.07% stake in the group.

Numis said Tuesday the rise in UK equities prices has boosted its revenue in the current financial year, although capital raising and mergers & acquisitions activity remains subdued.

In addition, the broker added it is encouraged by general market sentiment and its deal pipeline, which includes both fundraisings and M&A prospects.

Shares in the institutional stockbroker and corporate advisory firm were down 0.5% at 278.75p Thursday.
