(Sharecast News) - Next's group new merchandise and operations director and executive board member, Richard Papp, sold a big bundle of shares in the fashion retailer on Thursday.After the close of markets in London, the company notified that Papp had sold 27,000 shares at 5,713.17p apiece, for a total transaction amount of £1,542,555.86.He was joined by his spouse Rebecca, who let go of another 1,100 shares at 5,713.17p each, pocketing £62,844.87 in the process.Mr. Papp took up his post on 14 May, when he replaced Michael Law, who had discharged those same responsibilities since 2010.Their sales came just one week after the fashion retailer posted its second quarter numbers, reporting that online and overseas sales had offset a persistent decline at its stores.For the 26 weeks to 28
