Director dealings: Contango founder raises stake

(Sharecast News) - Contango Holdings revealed on Thursday that non-executive director Oliver Stansfield had acquired 4.8m ordinary shares in the London-listed mineral resources firm.

Stansfield, on of Contango's founders, purchased the shares on Wednesday at an average price of 0.80p, for a total value of £38,426.67.

Following the transaction, Stansfield holds 18m ordinary Contango shares, representing approximately 2.4% of the company's voting rights.

As of 1550 BST, Contango shares were up 6.67% at 0.80p.
