LONDON (Alliance News) - Anglo Asian Mining PLC said that it has issued Wednesday a total of 977,052 new ordinary shares of 1 pence each to certain directors of the company in lieu of remuneration and expenses due for the six months ended 30 June.
The shares were issued at 6.19p each.
Chairman Khosrow Zamani acquired 666,406 shares, while non-executives Richard Round and John Monhemius acquired 152,801 and 157,845 shares, respectively.
Zamani, Round and Monhemius now hold 1.3 million, 306,759 and 342,643 shares respectively.
Shares in the AIM listed gold, copper and silver producer focused on Azerbaijan, were down 18% at 5.25p near the close Wednesday.
