Cyprus telco PrimeTel selects Pelatro marketing solution

(Sharecast News) - Multichannel marketing hub software specialist Pelatro announced on Tuesday that it has been selected by PrimeTel to supply its 'mViva' contextual marketing solution.The AIM-traded company described PrimeTel as one of the leading and fastest-growing telecom providers in Cyprus, with around 200,000 subscribers.It said the terms of the contract provided a fixed fee each month, as well as a share of the incremental revenue generated.Following that contract win, and the recent agreement with Grameenphone, the company now had $3.3m revenue contracted for the financial year 2019.After the addition of PrimeTel, Pelatro said its mViva contextual marketing solution - which was part of its 'multichannel marketing hub' offering - would be used by more than a dozen telcos.PrimeTel operates its own private 4G mobile network, and the largest privately-owned fibre-optic network in Cyprus, offering a variety of communication solutions to personal, business and wholesale customers.Meanwhile, the company's high-performance international network spanned across Germany, Greece, Russia and the United Kingdom, providing network connectivity, data communications and IP-based services."We trust that Pelatro's contextual marketing solution will help us strengthen our customer-centric approach, increasing customer engagement and enhancing customer experience," said PrimeTel's chief commercial officer Theodosis Theodosiou.Subash Menon, managing director of Pelatro, added that the company was "delighted" to have secured the contract win for its mViva contextual marketing solution, and looked forward to working closely with PrimeTel."Expanding further into Europe is a key element of our near-term strategy, so this latest news is a positive development for Pelatro as we continue our expansion," Menon explained.
