Copper output from Chile's Codelco down 10% in March

SANTIAGO, May ​12 (Reuters) - ⁠Copper production ​from Chilean state-run ​miner ‌Codelco fell ⁠9.98% year-on-year in March ⁠to ​110,900 metric tons, data from copper commission ​Cochilco ‌showed on Tuesday.

Production at ​BHP's Escondida ‌mine, the world's largest copper mine, ‌fell 15.75% to 101,600 tons. ​At Collahuasi, another major copper ‌mine jointly run by ⁠Glencore and Anglo ⁠American, output ‌fell 10.80% to ​31,400 ​tons.
